G40 series cartridges

Our Air Dry purifier cylinders and their associated cartridges represent an outstanding advancement in the removal of water, oil vapor and other contaminants, and they’re leak-proof and bypass-proof. High levels of purification are consistently maintained through a selection of one or more desiccants to suit your application. The outlet of the cartridge is fitted with dual O-ring seals that prevent leakage of contaminated gas into the high purification stream.

  • Drying and purifying by dehydration with desiccants: For removal of water, oil vapor and other contaminants from the air and from argon, gaseous nitrogen, helium, hydrogen and oxygen plus water removal from some liquids
  • Disposable cartridge desiccants are easily removable and replaceable: Eliminates filter loading with inclusion of new filters
  • Leak-proof desiccants: The dual O-ring seals prevent leakage of contaminated gas into the highly purified stream. Seals are pressurized only on one side to ensure any leaks will bypass to the atmosphere.
  • Multi-combinations of purifying desiccants: Various selection of desiccants to meet your special requirements, regardless of gas, inlet temperature, dew point required or gas to be separated (available in desiccant cartridge)
  • Temperature maximums: 235°F/ 112°C molecular sieve, 120°F/ 48°C activated aluminum, 85°F/ 29°C silica gel
  • Safety factor: 4-to -1 burst per ASME code
  • Cylinder construction: Choice of anodized aluminum, nickel plated, alloy carbon steel and stainless steel
  • Working pressures: Cylinders may be selected from zero to 16,000 psig
  • Desiccant cartridges are unlimited because their encasement in the cylinder means they’re independent of system pressure
